How the workshop runs

Learn the basics.
Put them to work.

Start with how AI works and how to use it safely. Then practise on business tasks, with help as you go. Finish with a plan for using what you’ve learned in your own business.

See the tasks
  1. 01

    Get started safely

A short warm-up shows how AI works and why its answers need checking. Learn what information to keep out and which privacy settings to check.

  2. 02

Pick a job you want help with

Choose a repetitive job in your business. Write down what takes time and what you’d like to make easier.

  3. 03

    Practise with help

Use made-up business files to bring information together and understand spending. Learn how to give clear instructions and check the results. We’ll work around the room to help.

  4. 04

    Make your 30-day plan

Return to the job you picked. Decide what you’ll try first, what information you’ll need and who will check the work.

Try it yourself

Two examples.
Skills you can use again.

Work through two everyday business tasks using made-up files. Learn how AI can help, what to check and how to use the same steps for similar jobs in your business.

ACTIVITY 1 / CLIENT MEETINGS

Get ready for a client meeting.

The problem
You need to prepare for a meeting, but the client details are spread across notes, emails and a handover.
The task
Make a one-page Word summary so you can see what was agreed, what’s missing and what to ask at the meeting.
How AI helps
AI brings the information together, shows where it came from and flags details that don’t match.
ACTIVITY 2 / SUPPLIER SPENDING

Understand your supplier spending.

The problem
You have two years of supplier bills and no clear picture of the total costs.
The task
Make an Excel summary to see where the money went, compare it with the budget and decide which costs need a closer look.
How AI helps
AI organises the spending figures and flags possible errors. You check the calculations against the original bills.

Four steps you can use again

  1. Start with the job.

Decide what you need the result to do.

  2. Choose the files.

Share the information AI needs. Keep sensitive details out.

  3. Look for gaps.

Find what’s missing, unclear or doesn’t match.

  4. Check the result.

Compare it with the original files before you use it.

The guide, practice files and Word and Excel work from the day. Use them to practise again and repeat the steps at your own pace.

  • Your 30-day AI plan

A Word document we help you fill in during the workshop. Choose one job, what AI needs, your safety checks, who checks the work and what you’ll try over the next 30 days.

  • An extra social content pack

A workflow you can adapt to your business after the workshop. It helps you prepare weekly social content, from the idea to the finished files. See how it works below.

An extra take-home pack

Prepare your weekly social content.

You’ll also receive a social content workflow to adapt to your business after the workshop.

It helps you plan, design and make posts, carousels and short video explainers, then brings the files together in a weekly folder for you to review and publish.

Use the same habits you practised during the day: choose your source material, give clear instructions and check what AI makes.

What you add

  • A short overview of your business
  • Material to turn into content
  • Where you want to publish

Good questions

A few things
to know.

Is this for me and my business?

This workshop is for small business owners, managers and staff who want help with everyday admin. You can be new to AI or already using it. We explain each step in plain English. Think of one repetitive job you’d like to make easier.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You’ll follow each step on your own laptop, with help as you go. We show you how to give AI instructions in plain English and check what it produces.

What should I bring?

Bring a charged laptop, your charger and the Claude desktop app installed. We’ll email your preparation materials, including the practice files and setup guide, five days before the event. Follow the setup guide before you arrive.

Can I use my own business files on the day?

No. Everyone will use the made-up practice files we provide. Please don’t bring your own business files to use in the exercises. You’ll still choose a job from your business for your AI plan, without sharing those files during the workshop.

Do I need a paid AI account?

Yes. The hands-on tasks need a paid Claude plan and the Claude desktop app. We’ll send the setup guide five days before the event.

Will I leave with a fully running system?

You’ll leave with the workshop materials, including your Word and Excel work, and a 30-day AI plan we help you fill in. You’ll also get a social content workflow to adapt after the workshop. We won’t set up or connect your live business systems on the day.

When is the next workshop, and what does it cost?

Thursday 29 October 2026, from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm in Melbourne. We’ll email you the fee and booking details after you register your interest, so you can decide whether to attend. Registrations close on Sunday 18 October, or sooner if all seats are taken.

Do I have to buy anything afterwards?

You don’t have to buy any further services from LUNARC AI. You can keep using the workshop materials and your plan on your own. AI tools may have ongoing subscription costs. Any extra help from us is optional and arranged separately.

What happens after I register?

We’ll review your answers and email you the fee and booking details. Registering your interest doesn’t confirm a seat. Once your place is confirmed, we’ll send your preparation materials five days before the event, including the practice files and setup guide.
